We are seeking a Help Desk Tech Level 1 for our customer, an international telecom service provider.

MAIN FUNCTIONS HELP DESK TECH LEVEL 1:

  • Answer tech service calls from USA customers.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting (password resets, basic phone issues, basic internet issues).
  • Ask appropriate questions to determine ticket escalation.
  • Create, distribute, and monitor tickets.
  • Coordinate the schedule of on-field techs.
  • Dispatch subcontractors.
  • Follow up on tickets where customers have not responded.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Advanced written/spoken English.
  • IT related studies such as Computer Technician, Hardware Technician, Systems Technician, Network Technician, or other related careers.
  • 2 or 3 years Customer service experience, background in Tech calls support is a plus.
  • Stability in previous jobs.
  • Basic tech knowledge – proficiency in computer usage.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and good communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills and logical process ability.
  • Proactive and able to multitask effectively.
  • Availability to cover one weekend shift a month (Monday to Friday schedule rest of the time).
  • Salvadoran citizenship living in El Salvador is a must.
